When you browse this website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Hosting and security services can process technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, device information and access times to deliver the website and protect it from misuse. This supports the legitimate interest of running a secure, reliable website. Cloudflare operates a global network; technical information may be processed outside the UK. You can read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you make an enquiry
The enquiry form sends your details securely to a Cloudflare backend. Resend sends the enquiry notification to my Google Workspace inbox so I can respond. The form does not send anything until you choose to send it. If the form is unavailable, you can contact me by email instead. The website itself does not keep a browser copy of your enquiry after you leave the page.
Your enquiry may include your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, website or social profile link, selected services, contact preference and message. I use it to reply, understand your needs and prepare a quote. Depending on the request, this is necessary to take steps towards a contract at your request, or serves the legitimate interest of answering business correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.
Who handles the information
Cloudflare provides the website and enquiry processing, Resend delivers enquiry notifications, and Google Workspace provides my email inbox. These providers process the information needed to deliver those services. You can read Resend’s privacy policy for information about its processing. The website does not store enquiries in a separate database. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. I do not sell your personal information or add you to a marketing mailing list simply because you enquire. Any later marketing signup will explain what you are agreeing to.
How long information is kept
I keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to respond, prepare a proposal or deal with follow-up questions. I review it periodically and delete it when there is no remaining business or legal reason to keep it. If you become a client, some information may need to be kept longer for the project, accounting records or legal claims. You can ask about the information held about your enquiry.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer, or object to its use. Where consent is relied on, you can withdraw it. Contact me using the email above. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not save enquiry details in local storage. It contains no embedded social feeds or marketing trackers. Cloudflare may use necessary security technology depending on the hosting settings. Links to other websites and your email service are covered by their own privacy policies.
Changes
This notice will be updated if the website starts using a direct contact-form service, analytics, new marketing tools or other features that change how information is handled.
